Two top team players (hereinafter referred to as Player A and B) have tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), so we would like to inform you. Player A underwent a PCR test on February 14 (Monday) and received a positive result on the same day. In response to this, we conducted our own PCR test for all top team members on the same day, and Player B also tested positive. Both players are currently receiving appropriate treatment and are in recovery.
In addition, there are no close contacts in this case based on the activities and behavior history according to the J-League's new coronavirus infection guidelines.
At the club, we will further strengthen the measures against the new coronavirus infection that we have been working on so far, and once again, we will ensure that all players, staff, and related parties are fully aware of and thoroughly implement infection prevention measures.
