The J.League YBC Levain Cup Group Stage Sec. 1 match between FC Tokyo and Júbilo Iwata, scheduled for February 23 (Wed, holiday), and the Meiji Yasuda Life J1 League Sec. 2 match between FC Tokyo and Nagoya Grampus, scheduled for February 26 (Sat), have been cancelled. At FC Tokyo, several top team players and staff have tested positive for COVID-19 and under the guidance of the local health department, team activities will be suspended from Feb 20 (Sun) to Feb 26 (Sat) for 7 days to prevent further spread of the infection.
As a result, the J.League Chairman has determined that the match has been cancelled due to the inability to meet the entry requirements set forth in the 2022 Meiji Yasuda J1, J2, and J3 League match implementation guidelines.
We will inform you again as soon as the alternative date is decided.
