Today (May 31), as announced by the J.League regarding the phased introduction of vocal support in official matches, FC Tokyo will hold the match against Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo on July 6 (Wednesday) as part of the 2022 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Sec. 20.

In introducing this, we have decided to establish a "Cheering Area" based on the survey results for SOCIO members and discussions with relevant parties, including the J-League. Details regarding the ticket sales schedule for the target matches, viewing rules, and the cheering area will be announced as soon as they are finalized.

At FC Tokyo, since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, our top priority has been to hold matches safely and securely. We have restricted cheering styles, such as vocal support, from the perspective of infection prevention. As research on infection risks progresses both domestically and internationally, we have gradually revised our guidelines. With the understanding and cooperation of our fans, supporters, and all attendees regarding preventive measures, we have now reached a situation where we can hold matches without causing cluster infections in the stadium. Note: The matches on Jul 2 (Sat) against Fukuoka and on Jul 17 (Sun) against Iwata are not included. Please be aware that the matches will be held under the same viewing rules as before.
