On July 17, 2022, at Meiji Yasuda Life J1 League Sec. 22, Júbilo Iwata (kickoff at 18:00/Ajinomoto Stadium), a performance by "Onidekoza" taiko drummers will be held.
Ajinomoto Stadium will host a performance of the traditional Japanese drum group, Kodo, who are known for their global activities such as tours in various countries, including the opening ceremony of the "Rugby World Cup 2019 Japan" and the "National Festival to Celebrate the Enthronement of His Majesty the Emperor".

【Kodo Profile】
Kodo was formed in Sado by a group of young people gathered under the concept of the late Kodo Tagaya in 1969. The root of their activities is the "Sohaku Theory" which states that "running and music are one, and they reflect the drama and energy of life."
After completing the 1975 Boston Marathon, he made a shocking debut by running up to the stage and playing a three-foot-eight-inch taiko drum.
Performing the unprecedented "Around the United States Tour" starting with the 1990 Carnegie Hall performance, covering a total of 14,910km.
In 2012, the Japan Foundation organized the "Overcoming the Great East Japan Earthquake - World Tour" performance, and conducted a one-month trip around the world, starting with the United Nations General Assembly Hall in New York, to express gratitude for the support towards the Great East Japan Earthquake.
In addition to overseas performances such as the 2013 Abu Dhabi performance, activities are also focused on domestic events such as the Setouchi International Art Festival and the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, with a theme of not only music but also contemporary art and coexistence with nature.

Started the Earth Meeting Caravan in 2015, aiming for the 50th anniversary of the Oni Taikoza in 2020. Currently touring around the world in Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Brazil, Turkey, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, the United States, Portugal, UAE, China, and also performing in various locations throughout Japan. Appeared at the IOC certified event "Minna no Handover Rio to TOKYO" at Odaiba Fuji TV, and also performed at the festival "Classic Rock Awards 2016" by rock artists from all over the world at the Kokugikan.
In 2019, we had a 1 and a half month tour in the American Midwest, a 1 month tour in Dubai, a 3 week tour in China, and also ran through Hokkaido and Setouchi in Japan. In September of the same year, we performed at the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup 2019 Japan, and on November 9th, we performed at the "National Festival to Celebrate the Enthronement of His Majesty the Emperor".
