・Shibuya Ward Mayor Ken Hasebe

Since its establishment, we have been based in Shibuya Ward, and we are pleased to announce that we have entered into an agreement with MIXI, Inc., which has been cooperating with the ward administration, particularly in the field of education, through initiatives such as the "Kids VALLEY Future Learning Project" and the "Shibuya Club Activity Reform Project" for elementary and junior high school programming education.

The ward is currently advancing the "Future School" project to develop cutting-edge educational environments. The public elementary and junior high schools that will be rebuilt in the future will be redesigned as facilities open to the community, and we are considering the introduction of unique new learning methods so that children living in a global society can take flight from Shibuya to the world.
MIXI, Inc. will deepen its collaboration with this agreement and will work together to create diverse learning content, starting with "inquiry-based learning" where children actively engage in the "school of the future."
In addition, Tokyo Football Club, Inc., a group company of MIXI, Inc., has received a wide range of support from the players, including online visits to public elementary schools, videos promoting waste separation and graffiti prevention.
We look forward to being able to challenge new initiatives with both companies in the future.

Since our establishment 24 years ago, we have been conducting various business activities with our office located in Shibuya. Our purpose is to "expand rich communication and envelop the world in happy surprises." To create communication services that connect hearts, it is essential to focus on trends and entertainment, and to approach with a constantly fresh sensitivity. I believe Shibuya is the perfect place to receive such stimulation. With many IT companies and engineers gathering here, as well as young people and creators generating trends and entertainment, we aim to continue creating various communication services in Shibuya.
In addition to our business activities, we have continued various social contribution activities, such as programming learning support and club activity support for junior high school students in Shibuya, utilizing the IT know-how we have cultivated and the uniquely developed content. With the conclusion of this agreement, we will promote further social contribution activities in Shibuya together with our group, FC Tokyo, contributing to making Shibuya a place for innovation creation more than ever and developing it into a city rich in creativity.
