FC Tokyo has been awarded the "2023 J League Best Youth Development Club Award." This marks the third time, following the 2010 season and the 2017 season.

□Shigeya Kawagishi, President and CEO Comment
I am very pleased to have received the "Best Youth Development Club Award" for the first time since the 2017 season. Thanks to our fans, supporters, the local community, and many partners, we have been able to carry out the activities of the academy. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has been involved.
As a club based in Tokyo, we feel it is our responsibility to produce players who can excel from Tokyo to the J League and to the world. Currently, many players selected for the age-specific Japan national team classes are part of FC Tokyo's academy, and we are steadily building our track record in player development. Moving forward, we will continue to actively engage in player development and strive to receive this award again. We kindly ask for your continued support.
Satoru ASARI Academy Director
It is a great honor for FC Tokyo to receive the "Best Youth Development Club Award," and as the Academy Director, I am very pleased. This is all thanks to everyone who supports FC Tokyo, the local community, our partners, and especially those who passionately convey their thoughts to the developing players from close by. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude. I would also like to extend my appreciation to the teams in the 4th category (under 12 years old) that send players to FC Tokyo's academy.
Without being satisfied with the current situation, I want to further dedicate myself to player development so that we can support the future of the club and cultivate players who can represent Japan and compete on the world stage. I appreciate your continued support and encouragement.
