The following incidents were confirmed during the 8th round of the 2024 Meiji Yasuda J1 League match between FC Tokyo and Verdy on Saturday, April 13, 2024. We will report on FC Tokyo's response on the day and future measures.
□ Incident
・Multiple posters were confirmed on the stadium street near Keio Tobitakyu Station, seemingly intended to mock FC Tokyo.
・Part of it is posted on the vending machines installed by our club's partner, Kirin Beverage.
□Handling on the day
At FC Tokyo, we worked with club staff to patrol and gather information through internet media such as SNS, and collaborated with Tobitakyu Station Police Box and local neighborhood associations to respond. We also issued a warning on the official club X.
□Future Response
Information has also been provided to Verdy, the host organization on the day, from FC Tokyo. In addition, we have confirmed that both clubs will work together to consider measures at the next match to be held under our club's jurisdiction in August.
At FC Tokyo, we will continue to work closely with the residents of Chofu City and the surrounding area to provide a safe and comfortable match viewing experience for all stadium visitors.
