On April 13, 2024 (Saturday), during the match against Verdy in Sec. 8 of the 2024 Meiji Yasuda J1 League, the following incidents were confirmed. We will report on FC Tokyo's response on the day and future measures.
□Incident Occurred
・Multiple posters that appear to mock FC Tokyo have been confirmed on Stadium Street near Tobitakyu Station.
・Some of them were placed on vending machines installed by our club's partner, Kirin Beverage.
□Response on the Day
At FC Tokyo, club staff conducted patrols, gathering information through internet media such as SNS, and coordinated with the police box in front of Tobitakyu Station and the local community association to respond. Additionally, alerts were issued on the club's official X.
□Future Actions
We provided information to Verdy, the organizing body for the day, from FC Tokyo. Additionally, we have confirmed that both clubs will collaborate to consider measures for the next match, which will be hosted by our club in August.
At FC Tokyo, in order to provide a safe and comfortable match viewing experience for stadium visitors, we will further advance safe and secure match operations in collaboration with the city of Chofu and the local community more than ever before.
