On July 13 (Saturday), 2024, in the Meiji Yasuda J1 League Sec. 23 vs Albirex Niigata (Kick-off at 19:00 / Japan National Stadium), we will conduct PR activities for the "Healthy Heart Day" awareness campaign in cooperation with the Healthy Heart Day Executive Committee, focusing on the prevention of cardiovascular diseases such as heart disease and stroke. Please be sure to stop by the special PR booth on that day.

We will set up a "Healthy Heart Day" PR booth near the B gate outside the stadium, where we will distribute "Healthy Heart Day Original Cards (business cards)" and hold a lottery for "original goods signed by FC Tokyo players."

□ What is "Healthy Heart Day"
Circulatory diseases, represented by stroke and heart disease, are known to be the second leading cause of death among Japanese people after cancer. However, they rank first in medical expenses and are also the leading cause of nursing care, making them a significant social issue beyond just healthcare. On the other hand, unlike cancer, prevention through proper education is extremely effective. Therefore, the Basic Act on Cardiovascular Disease Measures enacted in 2019 promotes nationwide prevention awareness. The Japan Heart Foundation designated August 10 (Heart Day) in 1985 as "Healthy Heart Day" and has held heart disease prevention awareness events annually around August 10. Since 2021, the Japanese Circulation Society, the Japanese Circulation Association, and the Japan Heart Foundation, and from 2023 the Japan AED Foundation, have joined forces to form the Healthy Heart Day Executive Committee, advancing further awareness and promotion.
