Idol group produced by Rino Sashihara. The name "=LOVE" embodies Rino Sashihara's belief that "an idol must be loved by fans, and one must also love the work of being an idol."
On September 6, 2017, they made their major debut with the 1st single '=LOVE' from Sony Music. They have released a total of 17 singles, all of which have entered the Oricon Weekly Single Ranking Top 10. (The 6th single 'Zuruiyo Zuruine', 8th single 'Seishun “Subliminal”', 12th single 'Be Selfish', 14th single 'Natsumatoppe', and 15th single 'Rasuto Nōto Shika Shiranai' all debuted at number one. Their first album 'Zenbu, Naisho.' released in May 2021 also debuted at number one on the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking.) In October 2023, they will hold the '=LOVE 6th ANNIVERSARY PREMIUM CONCERT' for two days at Saitama Super Arena.
From February to April 2024, the first arena tour '＝LOVE Arena Tour 2024 "Tell me what's more than 'LOVE'"' (8 performances at 4 venues) will be held, attracting about 50,000 people and achieving great success. On September 7 and September 8, the largest scale concert in =LOVE history, '＝LOVE 7th ANNIVERSARY PREMIUM CONCERT', will be held at K Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture.
The 17th single, 'Absolutely Don't Quit Being an Idol,' was released on July 31.
