12/8 (Sun) C Osaka Match Cooperation with Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education "Let's Talk in Sign Language Together"

On Dec 8, 2024, at the 38th round of the Meiji Yasuda J1 League, we will have an exhibition booth in collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education, "Let's Talk in Sign Language Together," and promote the video teaching material "Let's Cheer Together! Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics!" to raise awareness about hearing disabilities at the Cerezo Osaka match (kickoff at 2:00 PM/Ajinomoto Stadium).

On the day, students from the Tokyo Metropolitan School for the Deaf will operate the "Let's talk in sign language together" booth.

(1) Let's try to talk in sign language together
Students from the Tokyo Metropolitan School for the Deaf will be at the booth to quiz visitors in sign language. We will be waiting at the booth until the start of the game, so please come and join us!


(2) Distribution of Collaboration Message Cards and More
Participants in the sign language quiz will receive collaboration message cards from FC Tokyo.

☐Activities for Understanding Hearing Impairment
The Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education is distributing video materials on understanding hearing impairment, created with the input of students from public schools, in order to increase children's interest in and understanding of the Deaflympics, and to foster awareness and attitudes of coexistence regardless of the presence or absence of disabilities, on the occasion of the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics. Let's watch the video and learn about hearing impairment and the Deaflympics together! Let's support them!
