[U-15 Musashi] Korea Expedition Day 5-6

-Day 5-

4-3
vs Incheon Football Park
1st Match 2-0
2nd Half 0-2
3rd Match 2-1

While many Korean teams are known for their strong forward momentum, this team in particular was focused on defending and launching counterattacks after winning the ball in the half court.
The U-15 Musashi team had a lot of possession time and the players, who haven't had much experience in Japan, seemed a bit confused.

The defense's build-up, the midfield's fast passing, and the way to break through in front of the goal all required quality as the opponent defended deep.
The game was characterized by issues with passing, excessive touches, difficulty finding rhythm, and inability to move the ball forward from a favorable position, highlighting individual technical challenges.

Last night, we went to an all-you-can-eat Samgyeopsal restaurant by walking. In Korea, there is a particular way of grilling Samgyeopsal, and we were eating it deliciously while being taught by the staff.

We will do our best on the final day tomorrow with Samgyeopsal power!

Day 6
Last day of South Korea expedition.
Many players went on their first overseas expedition, but all the Korean dishes were delicious and there were no issues with meals.

[Match 1]
vs FC KHT (30 minutes x 3 games)
△6-6
Match 1 1-3
2nd Half 2-0
3rd Match 3-0

This time, the opponent was also a match against second-year junior high school students who are one year older.
It was a match against an opponent with taller players and larger physiques than any team we faced during our expedition.

Until now, when facing second graders, we often conceded goals early due to not being able to keep up with their speed and power. However, our performance at the start of the game was good, and we showed our fighting spirit in the battles on the field. Our players also showed growth during this expedition.

Still only a first year junior high school student, there is still plenty of room for growth both on and off the pitch.
As the matches progressed, the team had more time to discuss and we could see a player-driven effort to solve issues.

Looking back on these six days, it started with heavy snow.
The venue was unavailable and we were forced to change the schedule, but thanks to the flexibility of Mr. Jin and Mr. Shin who attended on site, we were able to spend the entire schedule without any inconvenience. Thank you very much for your support.

There were no injured or sick players, and we were able to bring out the maximum growth of our players. That was our trip to South Korea.

We continue to ask for your support for their growth.
