The manufacturing process of Funabashiya's Kuzumochi takes approximately 450 days. To enjoy it fresh and natural, the expiration date is only 2 days. We still cherish the time dedicated to this momentary happiness, even after more than 200 years.
Also, the main ingredient of Kuzumochi is wheat starch with the gluten removed, which is carefully fermented with lactic acid bacteria for 450 days, making it a body-friendly confectionery.
