[U-15] Day 9 of the Guangzhou Expedition

Today is the Final Round of the tournament on Day 9.
During the long period of nine days, the players focused on how to spend their time from the morning to secure victory on the stage they reached after accumulating each match.
The forecast predicted rain, but somehow the weather just barely held up.
Check the condition of the grass at the center stadium, the stage for the Final Round, during the walk.
The players who have fought on the rough grounds in the qualifiers up to this point seemed unfazed by any minor issues with the pitch conditions.

The match kicks off at 15:00.
The opponent is Guangzhou Evergrande, the tournament organizer.
A select team that has gathered higher quality players than Guangzhou Evergrande, whom we faced in the qualifying league.
In addition, other players and coaches currently attending the Guangzhou Football School came as supporters, and the AWAY atmosphere put pressure on the players.

From the beginning of the match, Tokyo maintains possession of the ball and takes the initiative.
By the seventh match since the team's formation, the strengths of Fukagawa and Musashi blend together, approaching the goal of Guangzhou Evergrande.
However, in the 37th minute just before the end of the first half, taking advantage of a momentary lapse, the ball was brought to the front of the goal and struck.
This hit the DF and was sucked into the goal over the GK's head.
The first half ends with a score of 0-1.
It felt as if the cheers for Guangzhou's goal at the venue only increased the players' anxiety.

However, in the second half, unlike the players before, there was a feeling that they were determined to "absolutely win this game."
In the second half, Tokyo takes the initiative in the game and attacks.
In the midfield, move the ball, and from the sides, boldly cut in multiple times to deliver crosses and take shots.
Still, this is an away match in China. Due to repeated delays and time-wasting throughout the venue, we are not able to compete easily.
In the 57th minute, a cross from Yoshifumi, who had created several chances, was directly absorbed into the goal for the equalizer.
Tokyo continued to attack but could not score additional points, and the second half ended. They entered a penalty shootout.
In the penalty kick, each kicker confidently scores a goal with their heartfelt kick, facing the opponent's seventh player.
GK Takahashi makes a game-winning save. He secured the penalty shootout and was able to achieve victory.

Tomorrow is the return date.
In today's meeting, Coach Okuhara said, "The most important thing is to utilize this experience in our future matches as FC Tokyo."
Once we return to our home country, activities with each team will begin again. I want to make use of the flow we've had so far for the future.
