□ About "Women's Health Week"
From March 1 to March 8, it is "Women's Health Week." During Women's Health Week, national and local governments will implement initiatives to comprehensively support women in living healthy, bright, and fulfilling lives independently throughout their lives.
In the case of female-specific cancers such as cervical cancer and breast cancer, the number of people diagnosed with cervical cancer is rapidly increasing from their 20s, while breast cancer is increasing from their 30s. It is said that most of these cancers can be cured if detected and treated early, but many people do not undergo cancer screenings, and the screening rate in the city has not reached the target of 50% set by the metropolitan government.
Therefore, in Tokyo, a campaign in collaboration with companies and industry groups will be held this week to encourage screenings for cervical and breast cancer. Why not take this opportunity to think about your own health?
