□ About "Women's Health Week"
From March 1st to 8th is "Women's Health Week". During Women's Health Week, the national and local governments will promote various activities to support women in living healthy, bright, and fulfilling lives independently throughout their lifetime.
In female-specific cancers such as cervical cancer and breast cancer, the number of people who develop cancer has been increasing rapidly since their 20s and 30s. Although it is said that most of these cancers can be cured if detected and treated early, many people do not undergo cancer screening. In Tokyo, the screening rate has not reached the target of 50% set by the city.
In order to promote cervical and breast cancer screenings in Tokyo, we will be holding campaigns and panel exhibitions in collaboration with companies and industry organizations this week. Take this opportunity to think about your own health as well.
