Relaxation of Attendance Restrictions

Notice from the club

The J.League has been conducting matches under a "super strict alert" with a "5,000 person attendance limit" for matches after July 10 to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

As announced by the J League yesterday, on the 11th (Friday), it has been decided that for matches after September 19th (Saturday), under a strict security protocol, "the maximum number of attendees will be set at 50% of the venue capacity. However, for stadiums with a capacity of over 17,000, efforts will be made to gradually relax this to around 30%."

In accordance with the J.League's official release stating that "the number of spectators allowed and the timing of application will be decided by the hosting club, considering the local infection situation and stadium layout," FC Tokyo, based on the ticket sales schedule and the infection status in Tokyo, has decided to continue the current "maximum spectator capacity of 5,000" throughout September and is considering gradually easing restrictions starting from the home games in October.
We will inform you of the details as soon as they are decided.

In order for fans and supporters attending the matches to enjoy the games with peace of mind, we will adhere to and thoroughly implement the league's guidelines for responding to the novel coronavirus infection. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by measures such as temperature checks upon entry, and we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in strengthening infection prevention measures.
