We would like to inform you that at the board meeting of the Japan Women's Football League (Nadeshiko League) held today, Thursday, August 6, FC Tokyo's club name for Sfida Setagaya FC will be changed to "FC Tokyo Sfida" starting from the 2027 season, and the newly established FC Tokyo Sfida Co., Ltd., founded on Monday, July 13, has been approved to take charge of club operations.

Additionally, from the 2027 season, the name of the Sfida Setagaya FC Academy (Youth and Junior Youth) will be changed to "FC Tokyo Sfida Academy." The operation will continue to be managed by the specified non-profit organization Sfida, and under a consistent development system through collaboration among FC Tokyo, FC Tokyo Sfida Co., Ltd., and Sfida, we will work towards the development of women's soccer and the improvement of competitive strength.

Accordingly, FC Tokyo's women's soccer project will start with a new structure from the 2027 season.
