We are pleased to announce that the New Balance uniform design to be worn by the FC Tokyo top team for the 2021 season has been decided.
In addition, this uniform will be available for pre-order starting today at the official online shop and 8 official stores.
□ Design Concept
With the themes of New Balance Football being "REINVENTION" and "NEW YOUTH," the design work is carried out by UK teams, the birthplace of football, resulting in a design that is simple yet functional, inspired by the soul of the club throughout.
□ 2021 Uniform Design
【FP (Field Player)/1st】
The club's signature blue and red stripes are combined with an original digital camouflage pattern, adopting a bold graphic design that evokes a sense of modernity within classic.
【FP (Field Player)/2nd】
Adopting a design inspired by Ajinomoto Stadium. While paying respect to FC Tokyo's hometown, it expresses linear pinstripes in blue and red.
【GK (Goalkeeper)】
The shoulders and arms incorporate a muscular design graphic inspired by muscles, making the GK visually appear larger when arms are spread.
□ Material
The base material features the outstanding moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties of New Balance's original material "NBDRY." The authentic uniform is designed with a global digital camouflage pattern using New Balance's original jacquard knitting, promoting comfortable play without straining the body's movements.
□ Details
The message "You’ll Never Walk Alone" is printed on the back of the emblem. (Authentic only)
All uniforms come with a serial number tag (the authentic ones have a gold embroidered tag, while the replicas have a SILVA embroidered tag).
The emblem, which is the symbol of the club, has adopted a patch type for both the authentic and replica versions.
From the 2021 season, the name and number will be unified across the J League.
