4/11 (Sun) Kawasaki Match Investigation on the effectiveness of infection control measures at J-League stadiums and the increase in the maximum number of attendees due to the investigation

The J League, along with its official technology partner NTT Group and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, will conduct a survey to confirm the effectiveness of infection control measures at the stadium during the 2021 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Sec. 9 FC Tokyo vs Kawasaki Frontale (14:00 kickoff / Ajinomoto Stadium).
In line with this, the upper limit on the number of attendees during the survey will be raised from what it has been so far. The purpose of this demonstration survey is to utilize the analysis results for infection control measures at various sports events and will be provided to the national government, local governments, relevant organizations, and other sports associations.

・Implementation of ventilation through measurement of carbon dioxide concentration and real-time display・Congestion mitigation (AIST)
・Understanding the mask-wearing rate of spectators through cameras (AIST)
・Evaluation of the applicability of voice analysis technology for audience sound (AIST, etc.)
・Behavior analysis before and after the match using mobile spatial statistics (NTT Docomo, Inc./Docomo Insight Marketing, Inc.)
・Dispersal・Alleviation of congestion during exit due to regulatory exit (Club)
・Awareness and effectiveness analysis for various infection control measures (mask wearing, hand sanitization, staggered exit, etc.) (Club)
・Evaluation by Survey (J.League Club)

The camera images capturing the audience seats are obtained at a resolution that does not allow for individual identification, and no personal identification will be made. The acoustic sensors are used for measuring noise rather than individual voices, and no voice recognition or conversation recording of individual voices will be conducted. Furthermore, these will not be used for any purpose other than this research.
