[Progress Report] Regarding the events in the 3rd Round of the Emperor's Cup JFA 103rd All Japan Soccer Championship

On July 12, 2023 (Wed), during the 3rd Round of the Emperor's Cup JFA 103rd All Japan Soccer Championship, actions were taken that violated the operational management regulations established by the Japan Football Association (JFA).

We would like to report that multiple individuals have come forward regarding this matter by today, July 14 (Friday). The club will conduct interviews with the individuals involved and will consider strict measures as a club. Additionally, we will continue to investigate whether there are any other individuals involved in the same act besides the informants.



□Confirmed Violations
Bringing in and using dangerous substances such as explosives in the free seating area behind the FC Tokyo goal. This act violates Article 4 (Prohibited Acts) Section 2 of the operational management regulations established by the JFA.



□Eligible Participants
Multiple individuals who reported the commission of the violation



□Response Details
We will conduct an inquiry at the club regarding the individual in question in the near future. Please note that the individual will be prohibited from entering FC Tokyo-related matches until the fact-checking is completed. After the fact-checking, we will take strict measures and provide a further report.


In addition, the police investigation regarding the vandalism of the sign in front of Tobitakyu Station is ongoing, and the club will cooperate with the investigation. We will report any developments regarding this matter.
