At the "Hozuki Street" event held as a kickoff for the "Asakusa Hozuki Market," a procession led by the head of the tobi (traditional construction workers) parades through the shopping street. Together with "Shin Nyaka," the mascot of the Shinnakamise Shopping Street, they visit each store and perform a ceremonial hand-clap to pray for prosperous business.
