Greenhouse Gas Emissions from January to June 2026
FC Tokyo, under its Sustainability Strategy, has established four environmental policies and is actively working on them.
As part of our Climate Positive policy, with the cooperation of the general incorporated association SWiTCH, we have calculated the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with club activities from January to June 2026.
The calculation targets Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3. Regarding Scope 3, it covers emissions associated with purchased products and services, facility construction, vehicle manufacturing, energy extraction, production and transportation, transportation, waste, player expeditions, staff business trips, and commuting. Some renewable energy certificates and carbon credits are also utilized.
This data represents the first-year results of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions calculation at FC Tokyo. Going forward, we will publish annually not only changes in emission volumes but also the expansion of the calculation scope and improvements in data quality as indicators showing the progress of environmental management. We will continue to work on improvements to contribute to the Sports Positive League (SPL) and the UNFCCC Sports for Climate Action Framework (S4CA).
