[For 3rd and 4th Grade Elementary Students] School Exchange Match (vs Kawasaki Frontale)
On May 2nd (Sat), the same day as the J1 Century Vision League home game "FC Tokyo vs Kawasaki Frontale," an exchange match was held at AGF Field adjacent to Ajinomoto Stadium for 3rd and 4th grade elementary school students, targeting Kawasaki Frontale school students.
Although it was under a sweaty sun, we were blessed with good weather, and on the AGF Field pitch, an intense match worthy of the "Another Tamagawa Clasico" was played.
The children entered the venue looking a little nervous, but as they looked at the pitch where they would soon play, they also showed expressions of eagerness to start the match.
After the opening ceremony, we will prepare for the match together with the coach.
Among many teammates forming a team for the first time, it was impressive to see them actively communicating, such as remembering each other's names.
They listened intently to the coach's talk with a serious expression and confirmed what they would challenge in the match.
Warm-up is done, and preparations are complete!
When the match started, there were some reserved plays, possibly due to nervousness, but with the passionate coaching from the coaches, the players gradually began to get into gear.
While tenaciously defending the goal, the aggressive play aimed at scoring led to goals.
As the matches progressed, the battles for the ball became more intense, and when a goal was scored, there were natural high-fives exchanged among teammates and moments of sharing joy with the coach, showing heartwarming scenes even amid the tense matches.
At the closing ceremony, the children showed expressions mixed with a sense of accomplishment after the match and fatigue from battling through the heat, which was impressive.
Through the interleague matches, it became an opportunity to learn the joy of playing with teammates and the importance of fighting without giving up until the end. I hope this experience will serve as a foundation for further growth.
After the farewell ceremony with the coach, the children headed to support the top team! Their excitement grew even more as they looked forward to the "unmissable Tamagawa Clasico"!
