[For All Grades] Home Game Event Held at the Match Against Cerezo Osaka!

School Report

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, during the Meiji Yasuda J1 Hundred Year Vision League Playoff Round, Match 2, FC Tokyo vs Cerezo Osaka, we held a home game event!

Stadium Tour

At FC Tokyo, we conducted a stadium tour for school students, allowing them to visit the backstage area of MUFG Stadium (National Stadium), which is usually difficult to access.

This time, we toured the “press conference room” where the coach and players give interviews before the match, the “player entrance” where the players head to the pitch, and the “pitch level” where you can experience the stadium from the players’ perspective.

At the press conference room, participants took commemorative photos while sitting in the seats where the coach and players actually sit. The school students participated with smiles, enjoying the feeling of being professional players.

At the players' entrance, they imagined the tension and excitement of match day as they walked the same route as the players toward the pitch. The school students were also very curious about the behind-the-scenes area that is usually not seen on TV.

And finally, we went down to pitch level. It was a valuable opportunity to experience the intensity different from the view from the stands and to feel firsthand the scale and atmosphere of the stage where professional players compete.

And here came a surprise! Hayate TANAKA, the goalkeeper who came to check the pitch conditions, kicked the ball to the school students, who were overjoyed! The parents watching nearby also waved their hands and cheered for Tanaka!

Participants from the school said things like, "It was fun to walk in the same places as the players," "I want to go watch more FC Tokyo matches," and "I want to play on this pitch in the future."

FC Tokyo will continue to hold experiential events that not only improve soccer and futsal skills but also help fans feel closer to the club and the stadium.

Thank you to all the school students and parents who participated!

Warm-up Observation

The stadium was filled with excitement even before the warm-up began, with the unique intensity of MUFG Stadium (National Stadium) and the tension of the playoff round!

When the players entered and moved behind the goal, they were moved by the supporters' cheers, the atmosphere, and the unique sense of presence at pitch level.

In this match, there were also messages from Yuto NAGATOMO of the SAMURAI BLUE Japan national team and coach Hajime MORIYASU, who will compete in the 2026 World Cup, as well as from Kim Seung-gyu of the South Korean national team, and everyone gave them a round of applause.

It was a wonderful time where we could feel the fantastic atmosphere concluding the Century Vision League from the stadium pitch!

Banner Walk Kids

At halftime, elementary school students in grades 3 to 4 from the school carried the FC Tokyo Soccer and Futsal School banner as they circled the pitch.

They moved around the large MUFG Stadium (Japan National Stadium), showing a mix of nervousness and excitement from the special atmosphere.

They worked with a wonderful smile from practice, being mindful of the distance from the person next to them.

Just before the end of the first half, it was announced that there would be 9 minutes of additional time, and many children were eagerly waiting or feeling restless about the match result.

At the end of the first half, watching the players return to the locker room from a distance, it’s finally our turn!

During the lap, they firmly held the banner together with the coaches, overwhelmed by the large crowd and the special atmosphere of the playoff round.

They enjoyed themselves with smiles, moved by the view of MUFG Stadium (Japan National Stadium) from pitch level!

At the end, they honestly shared their feelings, saying, "I found my family!" and "My arms feel like they might fall off from how tired I am!"
