Regarding the following incidents that occurred during the 3rd Round of the 103rd Emperor's Cup JFA All Japan Soccer Championship held on July 12, 2023 (Wed), we would like to inform you of our response as of July 18 (Tue). We deeply apologize for any inconvenience and concern caused to many people.
□ Progress report and response for each incident
(1) Regarding the three individuals who admitted to bringing and using dangerous materials such as gunpowder in the FC Tokyo home stand area, we are currently making arrangements for them to be interviewed by the Japan Football Association (JFA). Additionally, the club is conducting its own investigation to determine if there were any other individuals involved in this incident besides the ones who came forward.
As reported earlier, until the decision is made by the Japan Football Association (JFA), the three individuals will be prohibited from entering any FC Tokyo related matches (home or away) starting from July 16th (Sunday).
(2) Tobitakyu Station Front Signboard Vandalism (Advertisement Signboard Damage)
A report has been received from the person who carried out the same act by July 15 (Sat). Regarding this matter, a report of damage has been submitted to the police as a violation of the law, and FC Tokyo is currently discussing with the police to confirm the facts through an interview with the person in question and to coordinate future responses.

We are currently verifying this matter with the police, but based on the report to FC Tokyo and the results of the club's investigation, it is clear that this was an act by FC Tokyo supporters. We strongly feel responsible as a club for not being able to prevent such actions by our supporters. We deeply apologize for causing great inconvenience to the sponsors of the sign, ZEVI Holdings Co., Ltd., Tokyo Verdy, and the owner, Kyoshin Warehouse Co., Ltd., as well as all those involved and the surrounding area.
