We are pleased to announce that Leon NOZAWA has been decided to move to Júbilo Iwata on a development-type loan transfer.
The contract period is until June 30, 2027, and Nozawa will not be able to participate in any official matches against FC Tokyo during the loan period.

"I have decided to move to Júbilo Iwata on a developmental-type loan transfer.
First of all, thank you for continuously calling my name and supporting me at every match.
I am truly filled with regret for not being able to meet those expectations.
I am grateful to the manager, coaches, and staff who gave me many opportunities and continued to trust and use me.
Of course, I am simply frustrated that I have not been able to respond to the fans and supporters with results.
At this point, I cannot confidently say, 'I am a member of this team.' I felt I needed to improve my skills, deliver results, and become a player who can always meet expectations, which led me to make this decision.

Because I have been in Tokyo for a long time, and because I truly want the team to win the championship next season, there is something I want to convey.
Fans and supporters always love Tokyo, support Tokyo, and cheer for Tokyo. The players truly feel that. We are genuinely grateful to everyone who delivers passionate cheers, both in good times and bad.

However, players are also human. Of course, there are times when we must accept criticism and opinions about disappointing performances. We understand that the cause lies in our own play, and I have always felt truly sorry about that.
◈ However, excessive comments and slander directed at the person or those around them do not empower the players and, I feel, can also be a factor that causes the entire club to collapse.
I have seen many different words directed not only at myself but also at other players.
I do not think that all criticism is bad.
However, FC Tokyo is a club from the capital of Japan and a team that should be deeply loved.
FC Tokyo is a team that exists because the players and everyone come together as one, and I believe this is that kind of place.
The ideal image of a club worthy of winning may differ from person to person, but the place we aim for should be the same. There will be times when things are good, times when they are bad, and times when you want to complain. However, it is precisely at such times that we want you to support the players and the club.
Only you all can do that.
Only you can inspire the players and make them give more than 100% of their effort.
I understand that what I am saying may come across as truly presumptuous, and I am fully aware that it might be rude, but I wanted to convey it nonetheless. Some people might feel this is just empty words, but I believe in all of you and in this club. Thank you very much.
