[Day 5 Activity Report] France Expedition 2026
It is now the 5th day of the France expedition, which is also the final day of the tournament.
With the frustration from yesterday in our hearts, we were able to greet each other with bright faces from the morning.
After arrival, it was time to prepare for the match.

Today is the final match of the preliminary league against the local team, Saint-Malo FC.
We faced the match with expressions we had never shown before, determined to win!
We were able to win with a score of 3-1!
The smiles on all the players' faces were impressive, and I was able to once again feel the wonderfulness that victory in soccer brings.
One of the great things about this tournament was that many people came up to us and spoke to us.
"Congratulations!" "We won!" "Let's do our best next time too!" It was a moment when we also learned to carry this feeling of respect.
After that, we competed in the 5th place tournament.
First Match vs Stade Briochin
Second Match vs Stade Reims
Third Match vs Pluvorn
Unfortunately, we were not able to secure a victory.
After the match against Saint-Malo FC, perhaps due to the relief of winning, we ended up conceding a goal somewhat carelessly.
In the subsequent matches, there were efforts to embody what had been learned so far and what had come up during reflections.
We were able to feel growth.

This time, a player from Dynamo Kyiv, with whom we deepened our exchange at the neighboring lodging, was returning home immediately after the tournament and reached out to us.

Dynamo Kyiv finished in 3rd place in their first appearance. In the third-place playoff, everyone cheered for Dynamo Kyiv!
We were able to have a wonderful exchange.
After seeing them off, the players said things like, "Why are you going back to a place at war?" and "We'll see each other again, right?" which made us reflect deeply. Since this was also an opportunity to understand reality, we shared stories we heard from their guardians. For example, that they were bombed even before leaving the capital Kyiv. Yet, they return because they love their homeland. Also, the importance of maintaining everyday life even in such an environment.
We also heard voices saying, "It feels kind of lonely," but I believe the smiles in this photo have become shared memories.
I want to cherish the words, "Looking forward to the day we can meet again!"
For the last dinner, everyone said, "Let's make it an enjoyable dinner time!" and it became the time when the most laughter was heard so far.
Tomorrow, we will finally leave France.
They were also working hard on packing.
We want to fully enjoy the last day in France.
