We would like to inform you of the progress report as of today, July 24 (Mon), regarding the events that took place during the 3rd Round of the 103rd Emperor's Cup JFA All Japan Soccer Championship held on July 12, 2023 (Wed).

Progress reports and responses for each event

(1) FCProhibition of bringing and using explosives and other dangerous materials in the free seating area behind the Tokyo goal

In addition to the three individuals who offered to report the act, one more person involved in the act reported by July 20 (Thu), and an interview was conducted on July 22 (Sat). Based on this, we are proceeding with the response for four individuals, including the three previously reported, in accordance with the instructions of the Japan Football Association (JFA).


Additionally, for the one individual reported this time, FC Tokyo will impose a ban on entry to matches related to FC Tokyo (regardless of home or away) until a decision on the penalty by the JFA is made.


We will continue to investigate and identify the presence of any individuals involved in the same act other than the declarant.

Damage to the signboard in front of Tobitakyu Station (Defacement of advertisement sign)

A report has been filed with the police regarding this matter as a violation of the law, and actions are being taken by the police concerning the four individuals reported. We will continue to cooperate with the police investigation.


As previously reported regarding the four individuals, they are banned from entering matches related to FC Tokyo (both home and away). Once the police response is complete, we will discuss with the relevant parties regarding the signage and take further action.


Once again, FC Tokyo will strive to ensure that visitors to the stadium have a safe and comfortable match viewing experience by promoting and strictly adhering to the match operation management regulations. We will also work diligently to respond sincerely to the cooperation and understanding of the local community, especially those living near the stadium, by strengthening our club-wide efforts to prevent recurrence and enhance awareness of manners among fans and supporters.
