Player Kim Seung-gyu's Comment

First of all, I am very honored to have been selected as a member of the World Cup, the dream stage for soccer players.

This is my 4th tournament, but it is always an exciting and enjoyable stage as if it were my first time. I will participate as a representative of the Republic of Korea, but I am happy to be able to go to the World Cup as a player belonging to FC Tokyo. After a serious injury, I think it would have been difficult to participate in the World Cup without the help of FC Tokyo, so I am full of great gratitude to the club. The goals I set when I came to Tokyo were to recover and perform well, to go to the World Cup, and to bring a title to the team.

We will not be satisfied with just being selected this time; we will gain a lot of experience at the World Cup and fight hard to return to Tokyo and win the shield.

To all our fans and supporters, thank you always for your passionate support! For everyone cheering us on, we will show you our performance in the World Cup! Please continue to support us.
