Regarding the following incident that occurred in the 3rd round of the Emperor's Cup JFA 103rd All Japan Soccer Championship held on July 12, 2023 (Wed), we would like to inform you that the disciplinary measures have been decided by the Japan Football Association (JFA) as of July 28, 2023 (Fri) along with the progress report. We would like to apologize deeply to everyone for the inconvenience and concern caused.

Progress Report and Response for Each Event

(1) FCNo fireworks or dangerous materials allowed in the Tokyo-side general admission stand

Three individuals who were reported to have committed the same act and one individual who was involved in the same act were interviewed by the JFA, and the following disciplinary action was announced today, July 28 (Friday). Please be informed.

Permanent Ban from Entering (All Matches Held in Japan (Including Matches Hosted by the Association, J League, and Various Leagues))



Furthermore, these four individuals were not SOCIO or OFFICIAL MEMBERSHIP members. Depending on the situation in the future, we may consider taking some action. We will also continue to investigate and identify any other individuals involved or assisted in the act, aside from the declarant.





(2) 
Tobitakyu Station Front Signboard Vandalism (Advertisement Signboard Damage)

This matter has been reported to the police as a violation of the law, and the police are currently handling the four individuals who were reported. We will continue to cooperate with the police investigation. In addition, we will continue to work with Tokyo Verdy to resolve this matter. As previously reported, the four individuals have been banned from attending any FC Tokyo related matches (home or away). Once the police investigation is complete, we will discuss with the parties involved and take appropriate action.





At FC Tokyo, we will continue to strive to provide a safe and comfortable match viewing experience for our stadium visitors, by ensuring that the rules and regulations for match operation and management are well known and followed. We also aim to strengthen our efforts as a club to prevent any future incidents and to promote good manners among our fans and supporters, in order to respond sincerely to the cooperation and understanding of the local community, especially those living near the stadium.
